Happy Half Term!

Don’t worry about making lunch during half term – 2WM are expert sandwich makers!

First, we looked at the instructions we wrote last week about how to make a sandwich.

Then, we chose the ingredients we were going to need.

Finally, we made our sandwiches.

We used lots of imperative (bossy) verbs to make our sandwiches like spread, cut, put, choose and most importantly eat!

They were delicious!

In English we retold the story of The Lighthouse Keeper’s Picnic and Mrs. Ward, Mrs. May and Ms. Morrissey were really impressed with all of the details that we remembered.

Ask us about the story when we are at home and we will tell you all about Mr.  and Mrs. Grinling’s latest adventures.

In maths we started looking at subtraction and we will continue with this when we come back after half term. In Science we were very sensible when learning about how medicines help us and how to make sure we are safe.

We are really looking forward to our assembly on the 8th November, please help us keep practicing our lines so we don’t forget them over the holidays. We also need to start learning our lines for the nativity please – you will find the scripts in our bookbags.

Have a lovely half term and we are back on Monday 30th October!
