This week we read The Creepy Crawly Calypso by Tony Langham

The boys wrote and performed their own rhyming version of the poem and then made creepy crawlies in Art!
In Science we have started to talk about forces (mainly pushes and pulls). Yesterday, we began to look at how friction and gradient can alter the speed / distance of a travelling vehicle.

Dougie came to visit Year 2 today. He is the pastor of Bury Street Community Church in Edmonton. Dougie told the boys about his church and they were able to compare his church to Christ Church, Little Heath.
Dougie told the boys about the church building, explained what Christians believe and even taught them a song!
