Caribbean Food Tasting

Thank you so much for all the contributions for our Caribbean food tasting today. We had so much food that we will continue our tasting tomorrow and probably Friday!

The boys really enjoyed tasting the different foods and I am sure they will tell you all about it this evening.

This week

Pushes and Pulls

In Science we have started to talk about forces (mainly pushes and pulls). Yesterday, we began to look at how friction and gradient can alter the speed / distance of a travelling vehicle.

The boys enjoyed the following websites and asked me to post the links on the blog.

Bury Strret Community Church

Dougie came to visit Year 2 today. He is the pastor of Bury Street Community Church in Edmonton. Dougie told the boys about his church and they were able to compare his church to Christ Church, Little Heath.

Dougie told the boys about the church building, explained what Christians believe and even taught them a song!
