Homework

Here are some examples of the amazing homework we have had in this half term, we have had incredible dioramas of the rain forest, some exciting mazes from Purple Mash and even some realistic postcards sent from the rain forests of Brazil and Costa Rica. Well done on all your efforts this year boys with the homework grid. I hope you found it a valuable learning resource filled with exciting learning opportunities for you are your parents alike.

Roald Dahl Gallery

Yesterday we went on our school outing to the Roald Dahl Gallery.  We spent the day doing various activities such as exploring the world of James and the Giant Peach, dashing through The Fantastic Mr Fox’s tunnel, taking a ride in a glass elevator as well as going on a mini-beast hunt.  The day was both fun and informative, the boys were able to show off all they knew about Roald Dahl and his stories, which is an awful lot.  As the BFG would say we all had a ‘swizzfigging’ time.

Recyclosaurs

In art and design this week as part of our habitats and environment topic we used junk and rubbish to start building our group ‘Recyclosaurs.’  This week we focused on shape and basic parts, next week we will stick it all together and add final details.  They look like they will be a roaring success!
