Time

Can you tell the time?

Whenever possible, tell the time to the nearest five minutes. Use a clock with hands as well as a digital watch or clock.

What time will it be one hour from now?

What time was it one hour ago?

Ask your parent to time you doing various tasks, e.g.

Getting ready for school;

Tidying a bedroom;

Saying the five times, 10 times or two times table…

Can you estimate in advance how long you think each activity will take. Can you beat your time when you repeat it?

The bread investigation!

I am sure you are all keen to learn the results of our hand washing / bread investigation.

Here are the results….

A- not touched at all

B – touched with dirty hands

C – touched with hands washed with soap and water

D – touched with hands which had used antibacterial gel

What lesson do you think we can learn from this?

Something to try

I saw this online last night and thought it might be something you might like to try.

Every time you feel like you are missing doing something during this time of lock down, write it down on a piece of paper. Keep all the pieces of paper in a jar. Once we are all allowed out and about again you can work through your jar doing all the things you have missed!
