Your son will come home with a Post It note in his Reading Record book.
The boys have created a list of junk to bring in next week. They will need their junk to make their model which they carefully planned today. I have explained they are in charge of bringing in all the junk they need but I will provide glue / tape / paint etc.
All junk can be brought into school any day before Thursday.
Many thanks for your help!
I’m not sure if anyone managed to watch the 100 Best Childrens Books over Christmas but it made an interesting watch!
I have been talking to the boys about the books they like to read and mentioned that I would post the top 100 on the blog. The link is below.
It might be fun to see how many you have read and if they are any you would like to read?
This week we have been telling the time. “quarter to” seems to be causing some confusing, especially when matching analogue to digital! You might like to use the link below to practise at home

We will be testing the boys on their two times table this Friday. They will have written it into their pink Times Tables. Please bring the pink book back to school on Friday so we can send the next set home to learn.
You might like to listen to this song to help you.

Happy New Year and welcome back! I hope you all had a lovely holiday.
We stared to talk about the world today. We named and located all of the 7 continents and 5 oceans. The boys had a go at placing the continents on a blank globe. They were then able to look at a real map to see how close they were.
