We have had such a busy day today! We have been to the science lab to make circuits, we have weighed items in Maths and then Ian came to speak to us about being an electrician!

We used the trundle wheels to measure the astro. Can you remember how long it was? How many metres was the the perimeter?

We had an excellent day on Friday at The Gunpowder Mills in Waltham Abbey. The boys took part in 5 different activities. Can you remember them all?

The Year 2 boys have been told about an exciting new initiative! They are all going to have the opportunity to read to the younger boys during lunchtime playtime. This is not compulsory but every boy will be given the opportunity to volunteer. We only need 3 volunteers each week and both classes will alternate. The first 3 readers for 2P have already been chosen and the boys know who they are. I will ask the class each week who would like to go next.

Please do encourage your son to bring in a story book to keep in his drawer so that he is ready for when his turn arrives!
