Snails

  1. Snails have four feelers – 2 are eye stalks and 2 are for feeling and smell.
    If you touch its eye it will go in.
    Under the shell there is a foot.
    When they grow older a lip grows on the shell.
    Some snails can not see in the light because they are nocturnal, animals.
    Snails are invertebrate that means they do not have a back bone.
    Some snails only live for up to 5 years.

  2. Max said: I loved learning about snails and slugs. They are very interesting creatures. Snails come out at night as they are nocturnal species. Their eyes roll when you touch them. They have big shells to hide form birds. Snail-like animals that do not have shells are called slugs. Snails trail is made of slime, they need slime to slide, it also allows them to move upside down.
